King Charles III held an audience with Rishi Sunak, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK) following the Privy Council meeting, the Royal Family disclosed.

The Royal Family said: “This afternoon, The King held an Audience with Prime Minister Rishi Sunak at Buckingham Palace, following a meeting of the Privy Council.”
According to privycouncil.independent.gov.uk:
The Privy Council is the mechanism through which interdepartmental agreement is reached on those items of Government business which, for historical or other reasons, fall to Ministers as Privy Counsellors rather than as Departmental Ministers.
Some days ago, King Charles III was diagnosed with “a form of cancer”.
According to Buckingham Palace, via a statement, announced: “During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer. “
