Retaliatory military actions on Gaza have turned structures into rubbles |
The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has not halted its retaliatory military actions in the Gaza Strip after Palestinian militants, known as, Hamas, launched a surprise attack on the Southern region of Israel in the early morning of Saturday 7 October, 2023.
UNRWA said, it “is a man made disaster”, adding, “despite repeated calls, still no ceasefire”.
The surprise attack by Hamas on Israel resulted in the death of hundreds of Israelis, with several others taken hostage.
UNRWA also disclosed, Israel’s military actions in the Gaza Strip has left “over 70,000 people injured”.
The United States (US) alongside European Leaders have taken a stand together on a “two-state solution” to end the fighting between Israel and Hamas, as well as bring about peace in the Middle East.
UNRWA disclosed: “The death toll in #GazaStrip has now surpassed 30,000 people.
“Over 70,000 people have been injured.
“This is a man made disaster. People dying from bombs & strikes – even more now dying from consequences of siege imposed on #GazaStrip
“Despite repeated calls, still no ceasefire.”
Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has said, he will go ahead with ground military action on Rafah in Gaza if the Israeli hostages held by Hamas are not released.
