The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) disclosed, a fire disaster which happened in Bauchi State on Monday 19 February, 2024 totally destroyed “109 shops affecting 153 traders”.

The Agency revealed, following “assessment” it was discovered that the “fire disaster” was caused by “an electric surge”.
NEMA said: “On the 19th of February, 2024, NEMA conducted an assessment of a fire disaster in Misau LGA, Bauchi State. The incident, caused by an electrical surge, led to the complete destruction of 109 shops, affecting 153 traders.”
HC: Wearing a long native to a “fire disaster” scene, and you’re supposed to be a rescue/disaster management official. Is that normal? Or just happens only in my country, Nigeria?! *Smile*
