The Super Eagles emerged second in the just concluded 2023 CAF Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) hosted in Ivory Coast; Nigeria lost 1-2 to Ivory Coast.
Ivory Coast have now won the AFCON thrice, same as Nigeria.
