Nigeria forward, Kelechi Iheanacho, has expressed his gratitude to God after scoring the last penalty which helped Nigeria progress to the final of the ongoing 2023 CAF Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.

The Super Eagles emerged victorious over South Africa after a 4-2 win in a penalty shootout following a 1-1 draw after 120 minutes.
The Leicester City forward said, “the Most High God has done it”, adding, he is committed to Nigeria as he said “for the nation” with several Nigeria flag and love emoji.
Iheanacho wrote: “FOR THE NATION
“The MostHighGod has done it.”
Nigeria will field against the host, Ivory Coast, in the final of the AFCON 2023 on Sunday 11 February, 2024, after the Elephants defeated the Leopards of DR Congo in the semi final on Wednesday 7 February, 2024 by a lone goal.
