He said, “Nigeria’s refusal to join BRICS is retrogressive to our economic future”, adding, “our quest to continue to be the apprentice of Western economic system is leading us to nowhere”.
Senator Sani said: “Nigeria’s refusal or failure to join BRICS is retrogressive to our economic future.We can’t afford to lose out in an economic alliance that offers an alternative to the unjust and exploitative order that we belonged for decades.Our quest to continue to be the apprentice of Western economic system is leading us to nowhere.BRICS is where we should be now not later.”
