Following his failure to deliver desired “results”, Wayne Rooney has been sacked as manager at Championship club, Birmingham City.

Birmingham City Football Club parted ways with 38-year old manager, Rooney, on Tuesday 2 January, 2024 after the club fell by three goals to nil to Leeds United on Monday 1 January, 2024 in a Championship 2023/24 match.
The former Manchester United forward in his message following his sack, confessed, “football is a results business”, adding, he is grateful for the “support during his short period with Birmingham City FC”.
Rooney’s sack is coming after just fifteen (15) games in charge of the Birmingham City FC.
