Mikel Arteta’s side got punished after a host of missed chances as Jakob Kiwior’s own goal in the 80th minute and Luis Diaz’s late strike in the 5th minute of additional time secured a spot for Jurgen Klopp’s Reds in the next round of the tournament.
Pressure continues to heighten on Arteta following Arsenal’s poor form recently, winning just one (1) in their last seven (7) matches in all competitions.
