Bombing In Iran: Scores k*lled at Suleimani memorial

Double explosions on Wednesday 3 January, 2024 at the memorial of Qassim Suleimani, former top General of Iran, has killed scores, leaving more than 200 with various degree of injury, as revealed by Iranian officials.

These bombings have further heightened tensions in the Middle East.

No one has claimed responsibility for the bombings.

Ebrahim Raisi, President of Iran, said: “The enemies of the nation should know that such actions can never cause a disturbance in the iron determination of the Iranian nation to defend Islamic ideals.”

Irna, State news agency, disclosed, the explosion occurred 700m away from Suleimani’s burial site, and the second was 300m further away.
