The Liverpool player also said, “I will do everything possible to return to the national team.”
According to espn.com:
“The x-rays that Egyptian national team captain Salah underwent showed that he suffered a strain in the posterior muscle, and he will miss the team’s next two matches at the AFCON — against Cape Verde, and then the Round of 16 match in the event of qualification,” read the initial statement issued by the federation.
Salah said: “Yesterday I started the treatment and rehabilitation program and I will do everything possible to be ready as soon as possible and return to the national team as was agreed upon from the beginning… I also love it and its people… try harder.”
