Rasmus Hojlund netted his first Premier League goal for Manchester United when he scored the winner late, in the 82nd minute, for the hosts.
Unai Emery’s Aston Villa were two (2) goals in front after Captain John McGinn and Leander Dendoncker found the back of the net in the 21st and 26th minutes respectively.
Alejandro Garnacho’s first goal three (3) minutes into the second half was ruled out by VAR, however, the Argentine went ahead to net a brace to level for Erik Ten Hag’s side in the 59th and 71st minutes.
Manchester United were in control in the final minutes of the encounter, and held on for victory to put an end to a run of four (4) matches without a win.
