Everton netted three times in the ending stages of a tough clash to discomfit Newcastle United and move out of the red zone.

Following their 10-point deduction for breaching the Premier League financial rules, Everton found itself in the bottom three.
The Toffees found themselves in safety, thanks to goals from Dwight McNeil (79′), Abdoulaye Doucoure (86′) and summer signing Beto (90+6′).
With this outcome at Goodison Park, Everton leapfrog Luton Town into the 17th spot of the table, while Newcastle United remain 7th, behind Manchester United.
On the other side, Tottenham Hotspur lost to West Ham United by one goal to two, despite taking the lead through Cristian Romero early, in the 11th minute.
West Ham fought back and levelled through Jarod Bowen in the 52nd minute and James Ward-Prowse sealed victory for the Hammers in the 74th minute.
