Executive Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, said, during the campaign season of the Osun State Governorship Election in 2022, he “made a promise to provide quality healthcare to our pensioners”.

Governor Adeleke’s statement is coming as a response to a tweet by the Osun State Government which says, “Osun to enrol 19,000 retirees in health insurance scheme
“The Executive Secretary, Osun Health Insurance Scheme, Dr Rasak Akindele, has said the agency has been directed by Governor Ademola Adeleke to enrol all retirees in the state in the health scheme.”
The Governor quoted the tweet and commented: “During the #Osundecides campaign season, I made a promise to provide quality healthcare to our pensioners. Today, I am delighted to announce the enrollment of ALL PENSIONERS in Osun State to access quality healthcare at no personal cost.”
