English forward, Harry Kane, was an unused substitute in the encounter as another opportunity for a first trophy at Bayern Munich was closed off.
Thomas Muller placed Bayern in front in the 16th minute, but Patrick Sontheimer levelled for Saarbrücken in the 45th minute.
Marcel Gaus netted late into additional time to clinch a famous victory.
