This is coming following the bombing of the “largest refugee camp in Gaza” by Israeli airstrikes.
The US President said, “We expect American citizens to exit today”, adding, “We won’t let up working to get Americans out of Gaza”.
Earlier, Biden disclosed, he spoke with His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan “to address humanitarian situation of Palestinian civilians in Gaza”.
President Biden said: “Today, thanks to American leadership, we secured safe passage for wounded Palestinians and for foreign nationals to exit Gaza.
“We expect American citizens to exit today, and we expect to see more depart over the coming days.
“We won’t let up working to get Americans out of Gaza.”
