Attack On Israel: President Biden speaks with King of Jordan ‘to address humanitarian situation of Palestinian civilians in Gaza’

United States (US) President, Joe Biden, revealed, he spoke with His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan “to address the humanitarian situation in Gaza”.

Several Palestinian civilians have been killed in the fighting between Palestinian fighters known as aHamas and Israel, and many other have been displaced.

The fighting between Hamas and Israel was ignited after Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel, killing hundreds of Israelis and taking several others hostage.

This caused Israel to carry out several retaliatory actions in Gaza encompassing a complete siege on the city.

The siege restricts food, clean water, fuel, medicine, electricity as well as other necessities into Gaza.

However, through intervention by the US, humanitarians aids are gradually making way into Gaza.

President Biden said: “Today, I again spoke with His Majesty King Abdullah II of Jordan to deepen our cooperation with Arab partners and continue to address the humanitarian situation of Palestinian civilians in Gaza.”
