Bayern Munich Dutch defender, Matthijs de Ligt, has described Turkish Super Lig club, Galatasaray, as a team with “lots of experience and a number of good players”.

German Bundesliga club, Bayern Munich, will slug it out with Galatasaray in the Uefa Champions League 2023/24 match at RAMS Park tomorrow, Tuesday 24 October, 2023.
In his press conference ahead of the clash, De Ligt said: “You always want to be playing as a footballer. My start wasn’t easy, I was recovering from an injury. I’m fit again now and can hopefully help the team.
“It will be a tough game. Galatasaray always have the whole stadium behind them. They have lots of experience and a number of good players, who have played in Europe’s top leagues. I’m expecting a really difficult match.”
