This is coming following the affirmation of Tinubu as President of Nigeria by the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court affirmed Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on Thursday 26 October, 2023 after dismissing the appeals by the 2023 Presidential candidates of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and Labour Party (LP), Alhaji Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi.

There has been diverse reactions following the final judgement by the Supreme Court on Thursday which validated Tinubu’s election as Nigeria’s President – some are in support of the verdict by the Nigerian Apex Court, and of course, some oppose.

The Ovation Magazine Publisher mad it clear he will remain on “opposition” as he has been for decades.

Dele Momodu said: “”After all electoral processes have been completed and foreclosed, those who want/wish to join the ruling government, for “PATRIOTIC” reasons are welcome to do so, while those who prefer to remain in opposition are also free to exercise their fundamental rights. After all, there’s nothing “unpatriotic” about being in credible opposition.

On a personal note, I humbly prefer to remain in opposition as I have been in the past 40 years… GOD bless the Federal Republic of NIGERIA…””
