This statement was made by the Oyo State government on International Day Of The Girl Child 2023, today, Wednesday 11 October, 2023.
According to unicef.org:
The International Day of the Girl (IDG) – observed annually on 11 October – is a global platform to advocate for the full spectrum of girls’ rights.
Oyo State government wrote: “Today, we celebrate the girl child. Oyo State pledges to continue investing in their well being and giving them the support they require. Happy International Day of the Girl Child 2023.”
