According to President of the United States (US), Joe Biden, we “will remain United and coordinated to ensure Israel can defend itself”.
The fighting between Hamas and Israel started in the early hours of Saturday 7 October, 2023 after Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel through the Southern region of the country.
Israel mobilized immediately and launched ‘Operation Swords Of Iron’ on Saturday to fight against the Palestinian fighters (Hamas) and defend itself.
President Biden said: “The United States, France, Germany, Italy, and the United Kingdom will remain united and coordinated – together as allies and as common friends to Israel – to ensure Israel can defend itself.”
