Prime Minister of the United Kingdom (UK), Rishi Sunak, has assured Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, of the “UK’s steadfast support” as Israel defends itself from attacks by Palestinian militants caller Hamas.

Hamas’ attacks on Israel started in the early hours of Saturday.
Several Israelis have been killed, as well as many others taken hostage by the Palestinian fighters (Hamas).
The UK PM said, “terrorism will not prevail”, adding, “the scenes we have seen in Israel over the last 36 hours are truly horrifying”.
“We stand with Israel”, Sunak affirmed.
Sunak said: “The scenes we have seen in Israel over the last 36 hours are truly horrifying.
“I spoke to Prime Minister @netanyahu earlier today to assure him of the UK’s steadfast support as Israel defends itself against these attacks.
“Terrorism will not prevail.”
