“Many requests” have been sent out to citizens abroad to come back home as soon as possible to help defend the country against Palestinian militants known as Hamas.
Hamas infiltrated Israel in the early hours of Saturday and since then there’s been intense fighting between the Hamas and Isreali soldiers.
“I promised him I’ll be back soon”, a father reveals the words he told his son as he reports for reserve duty.
According to IDF:
“I promised him I’ll be back soon.”
This is only one father out of thousands of parents who have had to say goodbye to their children, as 300,000 Israelis report for reserve duty.
The IDF and the people of Israel will stand strong and united in the face of any threat.
