Attack On Israel: Electricity supply to Gaza cut off

Israel Katz, Israel’s energy and infrastructure minister, said, Israel will cut off its electricity supply to Gaza Strip.

In Gaza, power cuts happen everyday, and according to Gaza Power Authority, 80% of electricity supplies to Gaza have been shut after Israel’s announcement.

Israel announced through Katz, “I have signed an order instructing Israel’s electric company to stop the electricity supply to Gaza.”

Before the statement by Katz, Gaza residents were already reporting more frequent power cuts since the Israeli strikes started this morning.

Gaza Strip gets most of its power from Israel, also a small amount from Egypt.

Hamas said they have shot 150 rockets in response to the air strikes from Israel on the Palestine Tower, an building of eleven storeys in the center of Gaza City.
