There is a confirmation from the Israeli Embassy in the United Kingdom (UK) that, Jake Marlowe, a British citizen, is missing in Israel following the surprise attack on Israel by Palestinian militants.

The surprise attack on Israel by Palestinian militants, known as Hamas, started in the early hours of Saturday.
However, it is not yet ascertained whether Marlowe has been taken hostage by the Hamas fighters.
According to his mother, Marlowe was working at an outdoor party as a security staff at Kibbutz Re’im, close to the border with Gaza when the Palestinian militants attacked on Saturday.
In a response to questions about Marlowe via email, a spokesperson of the Israeli Embassy told BBC: “Missing, we don’t know if taken hostage at this point.”
