Defending Champions, Manchester City, clinched their first three (3) points of the Uefa Champions League 2023/24 after a 3-1 win over FK Crvena Zvezda at Etihad Stadium on Tuesday 19 September, 2023.

Manager Pep Guardiola’s side came from the back to clinch victory over their visitors as Julian Alvarez netted twice in the encounter.

FK Crvena Zvezda’s goal came in the 45th minute through Osman Bukari, however, the Citizens fought back and levelled just two (2) minutes into the second 45 minutes through Alvarez.

Alvarez scored Man City’s second goal and his brace in the 60th minute, and Rodri sealed victory with the third in the 73rd minute.
