Bayern Munich defeated Manchester United 4-3 in the Uefa Champions League 2023/24 match at Allianz Arena on Wednesday 20 September, 2023.
Goals from Leroy Sane (28′), Serge Gnabry (32′), Harry Kane, from the penalty spot (54′) and Mathys Tel (90+2′) handed Thomas Tuchel’s side their first three (3) points of the tournament.
Erik Ten Hag’s side kicked off very well and should have gone ahead early on.
United’s goals came from Rasmus Hojlund in the 49th minute, and Casemiro who netted a brace in the 88th and 90+5′ minutes.
It was Hojlund’s first goal for United who suffered poor defending and goalkeeping in the encounter against their German hosts.
