Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Divine Ikubor, professionally known as, Rema, clinched several awards at the recent 16th Headies Award event hosted in Atlanta, Georgia, United States (US) on Sunday 3 September, 2023.

Rema emerged winner of the ‘Best Male Artist’ award at the event.
In his post-award win comment, the ‘Calm Down’ crooner said, “Be it Afro rave Afro this Afro that las las we go jam for Afrobeats award”.
Rema is signed to Mavin Records which is owned by Michael Collins Ajereh, popularly known as Don Jazzy.
