Nigerian Afrobeats singer, Ahmed Ololade, professionally known as, Asake, has clinched the ‘Album Of The Year’ award at the 16th Headies Award Ceremony which held at Atlanta Georgia on Sunday 3 September, 2023.
According to description on its official X account, The Headies is “The global awards for Afrobeats Music!”
Mavin Records singers, Divine Ikubor, known by his stage name as Rema, won the ‘Best Male Artist’ award at the event, and Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, popularly known as, Ayra Starr, won the ‘Best Female Artist’ award.
‘Last Last’ by Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu MFR, professionally known as, Burna Boy, won the ‘Song Of The Year’ award.
