The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) made known that, in Edo State, “over 200,000 citizens of the state have been enrolled into the Edo State Health Insurance Scheme (EDOHIS) in the past 8 years”.

The ‘Umbrella’ Party further made known, the Scheme has “provided free medical services to over 62,000 vulnerable persons” in the South-Southern State.
According to PDP: “On Health:
The Edo State Health Insurance Scheme (EDOHIS), in the past 8 years under
@GovernorObaseki, has enrolled over 200,000 citizens of the state, equipped over 248 health facilities in both public and private hospitals and provided free medical services to over 62,000 vulnerable persons in the Edo State. Watch out for updates on this sector.”
