Nigeria and SSC Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen, made the list of thirty (30) nominees for the Ballon d’Or Award 2023 after France Football announced the nominees on Wednesday 6 September, 2023.

Portuguese forward, Cristiano Ronaldo, who now fields for Saudi Arabian club, Al Nasr, did not make the list for the first time since 2003.
The winner will be announced at the ceremony at the Theatre du Chatelet in the city of Paris, France on October 30, 2023.
