Late Justice Chukwudifu Oputa was Father to Charly Boy aka Area Fada, he died in May 2014.

The Late Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria was appointed by President Olusegun Obasanjo in 1999 to head the Oputa Panel which carried out investigation into human rights abuses by former military juntas and submitted their findings in 2003.

He was Justice of Supreme Court of Nigeria from 1984 to 1989.

As shared by Charly Boy, the Late Justice Chukwudifu Oputa said: “If you’re a judge and you’re corrupt then where do we go from here? Then everything have come to a halt. If the legislature is corrupt, you go to the judiciary for redress. If the executive is corrupt, you go to the judiciary for remedy. If the judiciary itself is corrupt, where do you go from there? This is a question… Where do you go?

“To God whom you don’t see? To history which is past? To the future that hasn’t come?

“Today is here so let us use it.”

Charly Boy ended with #AllEyesOnTheJudiciary
