Niger Troops Face Fourth Attack Amidst Military Transition
The security situation in Niger has taken a further precarious path with yet another attack on the nation’s troops. This marks the fourth such incident to occur since the transition to military governance. The latest assault unfolded in the Tillaberi Region, where suspected terrorists targeted Nigerien soldiers, resulting in the loss of seven servicemen’s lives. Additionally, the assailants managed to seize a considerable amount of military equipment.
