Barcelona manager, Xavi, at a press conference, has said, the Catalans are in “good shape and have trained with intensity” ahead of the La Liga match against Cadiz.

Barcelona will host Cadiz in a La Liga match on Sunday 20 August, 2023 at 18:30 (Nigerian Time).
On the game against Cadiz, Xavi said: “We are in good shape, we have trained with good intensity and we have adjusted things.
“Sunday we will be up against a tough opponent, well organised defensively. Sergio is a really good coach who makes them play with a 4-4-2, they can pressure you… They know what they are doing.”
On the appointment of Deco as Barcelona Sporting Director, Xavi said: “I have had a great relationship with Deco since we were teammates. He’s a football guy, he knows the market and he’s a leader. We are very happy with that.”
On his players, Xavi said: “Ansu Fati is part of the Club, in the present and in the future.
“He (Oriol Romeu) brings defensive balance and he plays cleanly with the ball. He is a perfectionist, an experienced player and a leader.”
