FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023: Spain 2-1 Sweden – La Roja reach final for the first time

Spain defeated Sweden 2-1 in the semi final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 at the Eden Park, Auckland, New Zealand on Tuesday 15 August, 2023.

With this result, Spain reach the final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup for the first time.

Substitute Paralluelo opens scoring in the 81st minute but Blomqvistat levels in thr 88th minute, before Carmona ‘s dramatic winner in the 90th minute.

Spain will lock horns with the winner between Co-hosts Australia and England when they clash on Wednesday 16 August, 2023.

The final of the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 will take place on Sunday 20 August, 2023 in the city of Sydney, Australia.
