Application opens for NITDA stem bootcamp (SB4kids) for Junior category (Aged 8-11 yrs)

The National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA), under the supervision of Federal Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy, is calling on interested parents to apply for this year’s Bootcamp for Kids programme for their children.

The programme which would be undertaken through NITDA’s subsidiary, National Center for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (NCAIR), Abuja, is in partnership with hubs and state government across the nation to facilitate the execution of the programme and in line with the National Digital Economy Policy and Strategy (NDEPS) of the Federal Government, and NITDA’s Strategic Roadmap and Action Plan (SRAP 2021-2024) pillar of Emerging Technologies.

The kids will go through a series of hands-on training on the areas of:

•Artificial Intelligence

Coding

•Robotics and Drone technologies

•Embedded system and IoT

•3D Printing

•Digital Communication etc.

In a 10-days training period.

The programme will commence on Monday, August 21, and close on 25th August 2023 for the Junior Category

While the Senior category will commence on 28th August – 2nd September 2023.

Abuja Location: e-Government Training Centre at Public Service Institute of Nigeria (PSIN), Kubwa, Abuja. 

North Location: Futuremap Foundation Hadejia CBT and Skills Acquisition Centre, Jigawa state

South Location: Centre for Information and Telecommunication Engineering, University of Port Harcourt
