The aim of the visit “was to collaborate with the Commission in greening the upcoming Population and Housing Census to make it climate responsive”, the NPC said.
NPC disclosed: “The NPC Chairman, Hon. Nasir Isa Kwarra, fnsa received in audience the North Central Regional Coordinator of Women in Renewable Energy Association (WIRE-A), Ms. Moji Makonjuola, MFR, in his office at the Commission’s Headquarters, Abuja today – 1st August 2023.
“The visit was to collaborate with the Commission in greening the upcoming Population and Housing Census to make it climate responsive.
“Through Green Census Initiative, NPC will capture climate-relevant quantitative information at household levels to provide primary data on the impacts of climate change on Nigerian households and vice-versa.”
