Ilestedt’s 90th minute goal handed Sweden all three points of the encounter.
Having fallen in all the three matches on their only previous appearance in 2019, the Bayana Bayana were very close to clinching their first World Cup point.
The 2022 Africa Cup Of Nations champions took the lead in the 48th minute through Hildah Magaia, Sweden fought back and levelled in the 65th minute through Frida Rolfo.
