Few hours after the inauguration of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as new President of Nigeria, fuel subsidy was removed.

The move by the President Tinubu has ignited various kinds of reaction from Nigerians.

Keyamo said, Labour Party (LP) 2023 Presidential candidate, “Peter Obi supported the removal of subsidy”.

He also said, “all the major parties and candidates agreed that fuel subsidy would go IMMEDIATELY”.

Fuel subsidy “was even outlawed before the elections”, he said.

Keyamo said: “All the major parties and candidates agreed that fuel subsidy would go IMMEDIATELY. The Nigeria Labour Congress fully endorsed the candidature of Peter Obi who supported removal of subsidy. They are now saying they told him they were not in support of that. When? On what occasion? Where is the communique? Did NLC make that communique public?

“However, it was even outlawed before the elections.”
