Suleiman Adamu, Minister of Water Resources, made this statement after the Federal Executive Council (FEC) Meeting which was presided by the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.
The development of Airport Master Plan for 17 airports in the country received an approval of ₦449.9 million.
The Airports include, the Murtala Mohammed Airport in Lagos and the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.
Other Airports are, Port Harcourt, Kano, Owerri, Benin, Enugu, Maiduguri, Yola, Kaduna, Calabar, Ilorin, Sokoto, Ibadan, Jos, Akure and Katsina airports.
Garba Shehu, Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari, also made an announcement that, the Council approved two major deals for Ogoni in the second phase, a water project totalling to ₦22.8 million, and a ₦107 billion for the correction of recently identified hydro carbon impacted areas along the shorelines of Ogoni land.
