Nigeria’s newly sworn-in President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has confessed, Monday 29 May, 2023 is the “proudest day of my life”.

Tinubu has been sworn-in as the sixteenth (16th) President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria today, Monday 29 May, 2023 at the Eagle Square in Abuja.
He also said, today “belongs to you, the people of Nigeria”.
The former Governor of Lagos State said: “This is the proudest day of my life. But this day does not belong to me. It belongs to you, the people of Nigeria.”
