Three Hundred and Fifty (350) Nigerian citizens will be airlifted back to Nigeria through the Aswan Airport, Egypt, after they successfully crossed into Egypt from Sudan.

Due to the several fighting in Sudan, especially in the capital, Khartoum, foreign nationals are fleeing the North African country back to their countries or safe places.
The fighting between the Army of Sudan and the paramilitary force has led to the death of hundreds, with several others left with various degrees of injury.
An update on the evacuation of Nigerian citizens has disclosed, 350 passengers arrived at the Aswan Airport at about 09:30am and will be airlifted back to Nigeria by NAF C 130 and Air Peace.
As disclosed by an All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council member 2023, Akinsola Akin: “350 passengers arrived Aswan Airport at about 9.30 am
They will be airlifted by NAF C130..
“80 passengers in C130 and Airpeace 274 passengers.
“Checking in has commenced following normal airport protocols.
“Boarding is ongoing.
“Cairo to Abuja is about 5 hours.”
