Manchester City who are chasing a treble, are Champions of England for the third time in a row and the fifth time in six seasons.
Pep Guardiola’s side defeated Chelsea in their previous top flight match by a lone goal to clinch the Premier League 2022/23 title.
Phil Foden opened scoring for the Citizens in the 25th minute, perfectly converting Erling Braut Haaland’s assist.
The hosts fought back and levelled through 19-year old Julio Enciso in the 38th minute with a beautiful striker into the top corner from 25 yards.
With this outcome, Brighton have secured a top-six finish which confirms their spot in next season’s Uefa Europa League.
In his post-match comments, Brighton manager, Roberto De Zerbi, said: “We achieved an incredible target.”
