Alexis Mac Allister’s 99th minute penalty earned the Seagulls a much-deserved lone goal triumph.
The home win moved Brighton straight to sixth on the Premier League table, above Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur.

Manchester United had the chance to move third and buttress their grasp on top-four finish, however, Erik Ten Hag’s side were overpowered for huge periods of the encounter, especially in the second 45 minutes.
