Executive Governor of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, “received a great reception at the Bola Ige House” as he reassured Osun workers of “commitment to prioritize their welfare” |
Ademola Adeleke emerged victorious at the Supreme Court on Tuesday 9 May, 2023 over Adegboyega Oyetola, former Governor of Osun State.
Oyetola of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) had accused Adeleke of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) of over-voting in the 2022 Osun State Gubernatorial Election conducted on 16 July, 2022.
Adeleke defeated Oyetola in the election, however, the latter claimed irregularities were detected in the exercise, as a result, rejected INEC declaration of Adeleke as winner and sought to nullify his victory.
I shall “focus on infrastructural development”, he reassured Osun workers as he “received a great reception at the Bola Ige House”.
Governor Adeleke said: “We received a great reception at the Bola Ige House, this morning. In my remarks, I thanked Osun workers for their support and for the warm reception. I reassured them of our administration commitment to prioritise their welfare and as well focus on infrastructural development.”
