Stones made this statement following Manchester City’s winning of the Premier League 2022/23 title after their 1-0 win over Chelsea in the top flight encounter on Sunday 21 May, 2023 at Etihad Stadium.
It was Manchester City’s fifth Premier League title in six seasons and third consecutive title (2020/21, 2021/22 and 2022/23).

Stones said: “The fans singing my song when I was walking up to get my medal, honestly it touched my heart and it touched my family’s heart.
“It was so special – something that will live with me forever.”
