The United States (US) Government through the Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has condemned the recent attacks on international humanitarian workers in Anambra State.

The US Secretary of State said, the attack was on “two US government vehicles” loaded with “employees of the US Mission to Nigeria”.
Blinken said: “We condemn the attack in Anambra state on a convoy of two U.S. government vehicles carrying employees of the U.S. Mission to Nigeria and members of the Nigeria Police Force.
“We treasure our relationship with our Locally Employed Staff and our partnership with Nigeria.”
