Bayern Munich: ‘Choupo is still feeling some discomfort in his knee’ – Tuchel

Bayern Munich head coach, Thomas Tuchel, has disclosed some update on Cameroonian striker, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting’s knee injury.

The former Chelsea manager said, Choupo-Moting’s “knee has been a bit longer than we thought”.

Earlier, Tuchel revealed, the Cameroon international will be missing in action when Bayern Munich travel to Werder Bremen for the Bundesliga match on Saturday 6 May, 2023.

Tuchel said, Choupo-Moting “is still feeling some discomfort in his knee”, however, made known that, “our physios are on it”.

He further said, the striker’s “return will be in a matter of days”.

In his press conference ahead of the Bundesliga encounter between his side, Bayern Munich and Werder Bremen, Tuchel said: “Choupo is still feeling some discomfort in his knee, and our physios are on it. I think his return will be in a matter of days, but it has been a bit longer than we thought.”
