According to Opta, tonight’s draw at Old Trafford is the first time in 12 years that Manchester United have had a two-goal in a European game and did not win it.

Now, having netted twice at the death at Old Trafford, the six-time winners have put themselves in a very, very good position to dump Manchester United out of Europe for the third time in six years.

The Spaniards are still yet to lose to United: their record against the Red Devils reads: P4 W2 D2 L0.as
