Ruling All Progressives Congress 2023 Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu emerged winner of the tightly-contested 2023 Presidential Election conducted on Saturday 25 February, 2023.
According to results from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Tinubu discomfited Peter Obi of the Labour Party (LP); Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP); Rabiu Kwakwanso of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP); alongside other Presidential candidates of other Political Parties, to become Nigeria’s President-elect.
Tinubu was declared Nigeria’s President-elect by the Chairman of INEC, Prof. Mahmood Yakubu.
Ahmad disclosed: “President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu coming back to the country with renewed energy ahead of his inauguration on May 29th, 2023.”
