Jose Peseiro was born 4 April, 1960 and was a former football player who played as forward.
Peseiro took charge of the Nigeria Senior National Football teams in 2022. At the international break, he led Nigeria to a loss and a win in the Africa Cup Of Nations (AFCON) 2023 qualifiers against Guinea-Bissau.
Nigeria lost to Guinea-Bissau by a lone goal in the first leg of the encounter at the Abuja Stadium, and travelled to Bissau to clinch a lone goal win over Guinea-Bissau in the second leg.
